Since 2017 I hold a PhD in history from Lund University, and I am scholarly active as researcher, lecturer and editor. I specialize in the early modern cultural history of Northern Europe, more precisely within two research fields: (1) religiously dissenting networks and (2) early modern notions of privacy.
Currently, since 2020, I hold a full-time position in the research programme at the Danish National Research Foundation's Centre of Excellence for Privacy Studies, University of Copenhagen. We explore issues regarding what we today call privacy, primarily within five themes: belief, health, law, home, and urban space.
I am the editor-in-chief of the peer-review journal 1700-tal: Nordic Journal for Eighteenth-Century Studies, and the co-editor of the books Reason and Orthodoxy. Religious Enlightenment in the Nordic countries (Manchester University Press, 2023) and Tracing Private Conversations in Early Modern Europe. Talking in Everyday Life (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024).
In the Research Portal you can search and find information about all active researchers, units, publications, projects, infrastructures, and more, to get an overview of Lund University research.
My profile in Lund University research portal3,277 paid teaching hours on a variety of courses and levels in history and (to a smaller extent) church history.
